Toddler House Weekly Update 11/6/20

This week in Toddler House we LOVED getting to enjoy the beautiful weather! The times we weren’t exploring outside we were in our classroom working on our fine motor skills. We practiced ripping and cutting paper and furthered our skills in practical life by using transfer work. We were introduced to the concept of matching objects with photos that look similar to the item. We started with foods we were familiar with! This work helps build their language skills by being able to name both the card and the object as well as sets the foundation for abstract thinking, where they realize although the photo of the broccoli and the object of broccoli look different, they are both still broccoli!
