This week in Toddler House 2 we wanted to celebrate the USA and what better way to celebrate the USA then by talking about some important people who helped shape the United States.
The first person we talked about was Rosa Parks. We talked about how Rosa wanted everyone to be treated with kindness. We focused a lot on how we can treat each other with kindness and how to practice that at school.
Susan B. Anthony was our second person of focus. We talked about how voting can be done by everyone in the room and that everyone’s opinion is important. We focused on voting as a class and respecting each other!
Lastly we talked about Sally Ride. She was the first American woman to go to outer space! We focused on believing in ourselves and how we can do hard things if we work hard!
