This week in Toddler House 2 we celebrated planet Earth!
On Monday we focused on finding our place in this big world! We used our geographic nesting cups to help us learn what continent, country, state, and town we are in! We also did a fun painting project where we mixed blue, green, white together to paint our own planet Earth!
On Tuesday we participated in a land/air/water lesson and practiced our sorting skills as we matched animals to the land, water or air cards!
On Wednesday we talked about things that make our planet happy and sad. We talked lots about how pollution and trash make our Earth sad and talked about some ways we can make the planet happy! Then we practiced our gluing skills as we glued “trash” into our trash trucks.
On Thursday we talked about trees. We talked about how planting trees makes the air on our planet healthy. We then took turns cleaning leaves on a small plant and scooping dirt together.
On Friday we focused on the beauty of our planet. We took a closer look at flowers and tried our hand at a fun color matching activity.
