Happy New Year and welcome 2022! I hope everyone had a restful and amazing break during the holidays! We had a great week in Toddler House 2 learning, growing, and getting back into our
routine. Between our two toddler rooms we had six kids make the big switch to underwear over break! So amazing and we are proud of all the kiddos for reaching this milestone.
In Toddler House 2, we spent much of our time exploring books by Jann Brett. We made mitten and gingerbread crafts as well. We also worked really hard on unzipping our coats and snow pants, taking them off, and taking off our boots! The kiddos did so amazing and are becoming so independent in this area. Please keep this up at home. During group, we continue to work on our sign language and learned how to sign diaper. We sang songs about the colors and objects on our clothes. Our counting is coming along and our favorite thing is counting back from 10 and blasting off (throwing and catching Jessica’s name badge). We love singing the ABCs and this week we learned how to sign A. We will learn new letter each week. We continue to work h
ard cleaning up after ourselves every day and caring for our classroom. Please remember all your child’s winter gear next week. We should have more outside time next week!
