Toddler 2

This week in Toddler 2 we focused on all things Montessori. On Tuesday, we learned about Maria Montessori and read a book about her. We then colored a picture of her. On Wednesday, we learned about the Pink Tower and painted a picture of it. The Pink Tower is one of the more famous Montessori materials. On Thursday, we brought out some new materials! We have new trains to work with, new animal figurines to explore (that will become a matching work), and we have a new rainbow tower for growing our stacking skills. We also have a new material where we can grind up dried herbs (like lavender and chamomile) or egg shells. This will be a fantastic sensory experience and wonderful to build those finger muscles. Lastly, on Friday we had some fun with play dough and dancing out our sillies with lots of music. Have a wonderful weekend! ~Jessica
