Waitlist Agreement

River Valley Montessori and Child Care maintains an ongoing waitlist for new enrollments awaiting position availability or families that are needing care in the future. Prior to being add to RVM’s list, a non-refundable registration fee of $150/child is required with completion of the following documents:

  • Waitlist Agreement
  • Registration/Enrollment Agreement
  • Payment Authorization

In joining the waitlist, families are added to an ordered list of registered enrollments to be offered positions as they become available. Please Note: The joining the waitlist does NOT GUARANTEE enrollment. Tuition is charged at the rate that is current upon start date, this may differ from the time of registration submission.

Positions are filled on a first come, first served basis with the exception of the following priorities:

  • Children who are currently enrolled in our program receive priority for transitioning into an older classroom
  • Siblings of children who are currently enrolled
  • Child/family members of Staff
  • Families whose requested schedule aligns best with the available position

Position on the waitlist is based on the date of full payment (registration fee) and submission of all forms. Families who are offered an opening have 24 hours to accept the offer. After this window has passed, other prospective families will be offered the position. We are usually able to contact families 2-4 weeks in advance, depending on the circumstances.

Families may choose to pass on a position and remain on the waitlist. If a family passes on three offers their name will be removed. At this point, a family can contact us at a later date if their needs change.

If a family chooses not to join our waitlist, they can be added to our Contact List. This is a list for families that are interested but requires no fee or registration. Parents on the contact list may be offered available enrollment positions on a first available bases after the families on the waitlist.

Aside from contacting a family when a position becomes available, RVM will reach out from time to time to confirm that your needs have not changed.
