This week in Infant House 1 we celebrated Montessori Education Week! We read books to learn about Maria Montessori and were introduced to a new traditional Montessori material each day! During our morning collectives we learned about how peace is an integral part of our Montessori education. We decorated our door with pictures and testimonials about all the things we love about our Montessori classroom. It included the calm peaceful classroom environment, the beautiful natural materials that fill our low shelves, the opportunity to move our bodies and freely explore the classroom as we wish, and the individualized care we receive each day based on our specific needs. We love our Montessori education and had so much fun celebrating it and learning more!
