This week in Infant House 1 we celebrated and learned about Independence Day! We did lots of different activities, crafts and sensory explorations revolving around the colors RED, WHITE & BLUE. Our friends explored treasure baskets which contained all sorts of different materials colored red, white and blue. We explored sensory bags containing sparkles and glow sticks to spice up our tummy time where we worked on our gross motor strength. During our morning collective we read a book about our first presidents, the flag, and creating the constitution. We also worked our fine motor and grasping skills with 4th of July themed ribbon rings.
