This week in Infant House 1 we learned about the water cycle!
On Monday we talked about the precipitation stage of the water cycle. We did a fun rain cloud experiment and counted raindrops on our fine motor velcro board!
On Tuesday we learned about the collection stage. We talked about streams, rivers, lakes and oceans. We did a fun water sensory exploration as well!
On Wednesday we talked about the evaporation stage of the water cycle. We talked about the hot sun and tried on some cool sunglasses for a practical life activity!
On Thursday we talked about the condensation stage of the the water cycle. We explored our water cycle experiment on the classroom window.
On Friday we ended the week reading a fun book about water. It reviewed the water cycle and talked about all the different forms water can take!
