This week in Infant House 1 we learned about PLANTS!
On Monday during collective we were introduced to the different parts of a plant. We learned that there are roots, seeds, stems and flowers.
On Tuesday our infants learned about sunflowers! We learned that sunflowers grow super big and tall! As a class we then measured ourselves next to the average height of a sunflower. We also made a sunflower art project as class!
On Wednesday we read the beginning of the book “I Can Plant a Flower.” We learned that flowers start as seeds and lots of growth happens below the soil before we can see anything!
On Thursday we finished the book “I Can Plant a Flower.” Our friends discovered that flowers needs lots of sun and water to grow and blossom!
On Friday we ended the week by exploring flowers and counting the pedals on our velcro board!
