This week in Infant House 1 we learned about the Author Eric Carle and his book “Brown Bear, Brown Bear What Do You See?”.
On Monday we read the story for the first time and learned about BROWN BEARS! Brown is one of our colors of the month so we explored our treasure basket filled with all different kinds of brown materials including a brown stuffed bear!
On Tuesday we learned that the brown bear saw a red bird. Our infants did a red color matching activity! We also explored our spring themed sensory eggs, learning how to grasp and shake them to hear the different sounds they make!
On Wednesday we learned that the brown bear saw a green frog. We did some green color matching and explored our spring sensory bottles during tummy time, including the bottle with green grass!
On Thursday we learned that the brown bear saw a yellow duck! We did a water sensory activity with yellow ducks and practiced our counting by singing the 5 little ducks song!
On Friday we learned that the brown bear saw a goldfish! We did a fun bubble sensory activity and explored our fish sensory mat during tummy time!
