Children’s House 3

Hello CH3 families,
This week we have continued our space adventure! We’ve talked about the moon, stars and other planets. We even talked about the letter Ww and the sound it makes. Some of the things we did in our classroom was: created a constellation, created a space picture as we had us in rockets heading to/from the moon which we painted with tinfoil to create a crater texture like the real moon, looked at different shaped aliens discussing their shape and matching it to a like shape, made moon rocks fizz, and made a planet headband! Next week we have changed gears and are going to talk about different types of transportation and leave Spring for May! A few reminders include: book orders will be sent home this Friday and due the following Friday. Also next Wednesday is pajama day!!!
I hope you all have a fabulous weekend and can’t wait to see how excited the kids get when they see the bucket of cars back at school for transportation.
