This week in Childrens House 1 we enjoyed learning about weather!
On Monday we talked about all the different weather around the world. We also had fun exploring clouds. Our friends practiced tracing the letter C for cloud, made cloud artwork, and we finished the day with a cloud science experiment.
On Tuesday our friends created beautiful thunderstorm pictures. We enjoyed learning about the lightning and rain when it storms.
On Wednesday we focused on the sun and rainbows.
We painted a plate yellow for our sun craft! Ou friends then glued triangles and eyes on the plate to make a happy sun! We also discussed all the colors in a rainbow.
On Thursday we talked about wind and tornadoes. With this whether our friends discovered how strong and dangerous tornados can be. We took this an a great time to practice a tornado drill.
On Friday we focused on snow life cycle. Along with our weekly theme, we practiced the ABCs, counting skill, and explored Montessori materials.
