Hello CH1 families,
This week we have learned about Presidents, the letter N, and number 16. On Tuesday, we talked about how some of our former presidents are on the money we use, observed coins using a magnifying glass, and sorted the coins! On Wednesday, we focused on Abraham Lincoln and made a big replica hat! On Thursday, we took a look at the White House and were able to go on a virtual tour through the White House! We talked about why the President gets to live there and made our own “White House” out of big blocks. On Friday, we talked about who our current president is and then had a fun voting day!
-We’ve made it through these last couple of freezing weeks, but next week we can finally go back outside!! Please make sure your child has everything they need to stay warm outside!-Heads Up! I will be gone next Friday the 26th, but Ms. Mindy will be here and there is a fun day planned!
