This week in Children House 1 we traveled through time and learned about important people in history! On Tuesday, we talked about Dr.Martin Luther King Jr. On Thursday we learned what it means to be a President and we focused on the first president of The United States, George Washington. We also were exploring images of some of the most famous past presidents by using matching cards! On Friday we enjoyed learning about Maria Montessori by reading a story about her and coloring her picture. We had so much FUN during large muscles activities and made an amazing obstacle course.
