This week our theme was Fire Safety & Fire Prevention. We practiced Stop, Drop, & Roll with all the children in case our clothes catch on fire and how we respond. We learned about smoke detectors and how they save lives. We read books about Fire Trucks, Fire fighters, and not touching matches or hot liquids/ items. We learned about the Exits, Fire Extinguishers, Fire Hydrants and where we meet in case there is a Fire.
Our letter of the week is B – we painted with watercolors and practiced words beginning with the letter B.
We are learning to speak softly in our classroom, respecting each other’s workspace, and practicing our patience. Next week our theme is Fantastic Fall and the letter B. Have a wonderful weekend!
