The theme for this week was fire prevention/fire safety. We read lots of books about fire fighters and fire trucks. We talked about what we do if our clothes catch fire-Stop, Drop and Roll. We also reviewed fire drills, family meeting places and where we can find fire extinguishers and smoke detectors. For art, we painted the letter B with water colors. We used our imagination and created a fire truck with craft sticks, and paint. We also painted a box and made a fire truck with red paint. We had fun dancing to music, counting 1-50 and learning about some of our shapes-cube and square. Please remember to send a jacket daily for outside play time.
