This week in Toddler House 2 we had a lot of fun! We sponge painted a pumpkin, made handprint spiders, and painted a tree.
We also learned about the parts of a pumpkin by exploring a real pumpkin. The children had a fantastic time scooping the seeds out with their hands. We continued to work on our sign language and self dressing skills (we are going to be pros when we need to put on our snow gear). During group we sang our ABC’s, counted to ten and back down to zero, sang songs about pumpkins, and talked about the colors on our clothing. We are working every day to care for our classroom by putting away our plates and cups, pushing our chairs in after meals, using gentle hands with our materials, and cleaning up our materials when we are all done. It was so much fun to see the children dressed up for our spirit week!Lastly, we welcomed a friend this week and we are so excited to meet another new friend next week! We love our growing community!
