Happy Friday Toddler House 2 Families! We were busy bees this week. We learned about the letter B, counting to ten (and back), the color red, and fire safety. We made fire fighter hats and badges. Our quiet activities after nap included a fire sensory bag (red, yellow, and orange paint). We learned fires are hot and mommy or daddy need to call 911 when there is a fire. Outside we practiced stop, drop, and roll.
We are working on signing basics with our younger toddlers. Our older toddlers are practicing independent self dressing skills (like putting on their own hoodies or jackets and shoes for outside) and taking off their diapers in the bathroom. All toddlers are working on pushing their chairs in after meals, putting away their materials after they are done, and caring for books with gentle hands. We are excited for next week’s theme of “Fantastic Fall.” Lastly, we welcomed a new friend this week and we had a great time getting to know her and showing her around the classroom and playground.
