Toddler House 2

This week in Toddler House 2 we loved getting to explore different jungle and safari animals!
We practiced our fine motor and practical life skills by participating in a lacing activity, where we used beads and a string to create the body of a snake! This works our muscles in our hands, our hand-eye coordination, and our concentration skills.
We explored our creative side through art this week, using paint rollers, green and yellow paint, and paper plates to create slithery snakes!
We expanded our language skills by being introduced to pattern matching. We were presented with three animals with distinct patterns on them and three felt squares with a matching pattern for each animal. We practiced recognizing ones that were similar and matching the same patterns together.
We had a fun time exploring a fun play-doh sensory project this week! We used leaves, sticks, rocks, animal figurines, and play-doh to create our own personal jungles. We loved getting to find hiding spots in the jungle for each of our animals.
We had such a fun week this week exploring new works and practicing our skills!
