Toddler House 2

This week in Toddler House 2 we celebrated the Fourth of July! We enjoyed creating small flags the resemble the American flag using only our hands in art this week. During the work cycle we worked our fine motor and practical life skills with a fun transfer activity. We used a small cupped tongs to transfer patriotic themed stars from one container to the next. While doing this we practiced our focusing skills and our hand eye coordination. In the long run, this activity prepares us for using scissors and also builds all the muscles in our hands to prepare us for writing. We loved getting to dress up in different colors each day with each other and had a blast celebrating this week! We look forward to see what the rest of July will bring for us!
