Toddler House 2

This week in Toddler House 2 we showed great interest in water transfer work, specifically cup to cup pouring. Water pouring is an important part of our practical life shelf in our classroom. Practicing to pour water from cup to cup helps the children build confidence to perform and accomplish day to day tasks independently. They learn about control of error and practice extreme focus while pouring water from one cup to another, knowing that they are in charge of any spills that may occur. In the event that a spill occurs the child is encouraged to wipe up their spill with a towel on their own, helping build skills towards caring for their environment.
