This week our theme was about “the important people throughout history.” In Toddler House 1 we read books about love and showing kindness to each other. We did 2 projects: peace sign “I have a dream!” for MLK day, and making a paper dove.
We are learning all about patience through some story books and have had lots of conversations about it!
We learned about the letter M, its sound, and learned lots of words that start with M! This week we learned about the number 5, ovals, and the color orange! We incorporated different Montessori works into our lessons along with playdough!
With it being so cold this week we practiced lots of large motor skills with balls, jump ropes and some games inside.
Next week we will learn about Cooking/Baking.
