This week in Toddler House 1 we learned about Fire Safety and Prevention. We focused on the letter B and the sound it makes! We are learning about the number 2, squares, and the color red.
This week the children are learning all about caring for books, keeping feet on the ground, and using nice words like “Please” and “Thank you”. We have made some great art projects too! These included: painting the flames, painting firefighters, and decorating the numbers 911. Some of the themed activities we did this week included; putting out a “fire” with a spray bottle and shaping fire trucks with play dough. We did exercises every day like stretching our arms, legs and bodies. Then we practiced balancing on one foot, running, jumping, climbing, and throwing balls outside. We also read stories and sang some of our favorite songs about firefighters and firetrucks! Next week our theme will be “Fantastic Fall!” -Thi
