Toddler House

This week in toddler house we were introduced to the work of flower arranging. Our toddlers first started by getting to experience the flowers on their own. We noted how each flower looked, smelled and felt! Then we were presented with a small vase and scissors. We first trimmed the stems of each flower to the proper length for our vases, then we arranged them to our liking. We loved being in control of making a beautiful arrangement for our classroom. In the process we practiced our practical life skills working hard at cutting, carrying, pouring and arranging.
