This week in Toddler House 1 we embarked into the land of fairytales, reading and learning about classic stories like The 3 Little Pigs, Goldilocks & the 3 Bears, Jack & the Beanstalk and few other classic fairytales. Our week was filled with fun fairytale themed activities starting with creating a wolf with big eyes, big ears and big teeth just like the wolf in the story of Little Red Riding Hood. We also worked on a fine motor activity where we added leaves to our beanstalks and counted the leaves as we worked hard to maneuver them onto the stalk. We worked on learning and differentiating hard vs. soft items just as Goldilocks does in the story. We ended the week doing a gross motor activity where we learned about fast vs. slow movements and talked about the race between the tortoise and the hare!
