This week in Toddler House 1 we learned all about bugs! We read books filled with different types of insects like ants, caterpillars, and bees. We learned how to use a magnifying glass and used them to investigate our toy bugs in the classroom! Our toddlers loved looking at their eyes, wings, antennas and counting the number of legs. We even took our magnifying glasses out to the playground to hunt for real bugs! We enjoyed some arts and crafts time painting paper plates red and adding spots and eyes to make ladybugs and making butterfly cutouts with play dough!
