This week in infant once we celebrated cultures around the world! Our infants did a water painting activity to represent all our cultures. This activity promotes autonomy and sharpens fine motor skills! For our morning collective we introduced the letter D! Our d tray had so many fun items like a dish, dinosaur, dog, a small red d, and a sandpaper tracing d! The books we read during collective were “Hello World” and “Are You My Mother?”. We also introduced the triangle and the triangle and the triangular prism! A few activities we did to include these shapes were: single shape triangle puzzle, hand-over-hand drawing triangles, comparing sizes of triangular prisms, and moving our bodies and triangular prisons in and out of a large tape triangle. At the end of the week we got to explore our new thanksgiving themed sensory bottles!
