This week in infant one we welcomed in our Minnesota fall weather! Our infants learned all about the letter b with our Montessori b tray! This tray has the letter b on it and multiple b name items. We had so much fun exploring squares and cubes this week as well! Our infants worked really hard on our small 3D puzzle, which was placing a cube into a box! The fantastic fall themed books this week were “I Love Fall” and “We’re Going on a Leaf Hunt”. We read these 2 books and went over our b tray during morning collective! Our friends also loved our sensory paint smash this week! There was a fall leaf cut out in a zip lock back with different fall color paints, each infant had their own bags and did whatever they wished to spread the paint on the paper. Another fun sensory activity we did was exploring real pine cones from outside! We used our gripe strength to hold the pine cones and explored the new texture. After exploring the pine cones we used them as paint brushes and made beautiful pine cone art work!
