This week in infant one we worked really hard on our morning collective routine! During morning collective we read “Here one the Helpers” and “Jobs Around Town” to learn about our amazing community helpers! We also switched out the items in our A tray! Our friends have so much fun learning all about our letter A! We also implemented small group learning during our lunch rotations! Our friends explored circles and spheres! We traced circled, drew them, and used a hula hoop to practice transfer work! For the sphere our friends explored different size and textured balls. We rolled them in our hand and on the floor and practiced placing them in a basket! Our friend have been LOVING the authentic Montessori work, the object permanence box! As soon as they see the work taken out the are so happy to work with it! We ended the week celebrating one of our friends FIRST birthdays!
