Children’s House 1

Hello CH1 families!
We have had a lot of fun with our Dr.Seuss theme and don’t want this week to end! On Monday, we traced our letter of the week (M), and practiced our cutting skills. On Tuesday, we colored coffee filters and sprayed them with water to make hot air balloons. On the basket of the hot air balloon we wrote down what we want to be when we grow up! This project was related to Dr. Seuss’s book, “Oh, the Places You’ll Go!”. On Wednesday, we matched Dr. Seuss number cards and enjoyed the beautiful weather by going for our first walk of the season/year! On Thursday, we made Truffula trees with tissue paper and sorted/counted fish! On Friday, we cut strips of paper and made hats like the Cat in the Hat and went on another walk.
A couple of reminders:
-Please check your child’s folder every Friday! It is located on the cubby’s under the white board.
-Book orders go out tomorrow and will be located in your child’s folder.
