This week our theme was pumpkins. We painted mini/small pumpkins with acrylic paint. The children had fun doing this activity. We also decorated treat bags for our Harvest party with fun foam stickers and by coloring. We made jack-o-lanterns too!
For story time we read The Big Pumpkin, 5 Little pumpkins, and Ten timid ghosts. For math we reviewed our numbers from 1-10 and 0. The letter of the week was C – the children brought items beginning with the letter C for share day. We reviewed the square and cube for Geometry.
On Friday we had our Harvest party and enjoyed a special snack. The children wore their costumes and passed treats to all their friends. We played monster mash and danced too. We also did a special craft to take home. Have a great weekend!
